“The stories behind the photographs, that is what we seek, that is what we yearn to know.” -Tina Chambers
In this week’s Restore.tv episode, Sherion Reay stopped by to get some help restoring some treasured family photographs. The first photograph Sherion showed us was a picture of her mother, Barbara who was about 6 months old taken in Carlsbad California. The photograph was heavily damaged and Sherion was thrilled when she came across it after her mother passed away this past November. Sherion remembers, “My mother was very happy, she’s had some real hardships. But she always had a good sense of humor.” The next photographs individually feature Sherion’s children Stephanie, Paul and Dean. Sheri shared some great stories from their youth like Stephanie singing at Disneyland, Dean and his love of skiing and Paul who used CPR to save his brother’s life! The photo restoration instructions included: Fixing scratches, enhance contrast, remove borders, fix the colors and create a 4×6″ print. We were thrilled to help restore these cherished family photographs for Sherion and her family to enjoy!
