Restore.tv Season 1 – Episode 21: “My Older Generations”

Lynda stopped by Restore.tv with some cherished family photographs for us to restore. The first two photographs are of her Great Grandfather James Edwin Thompson who was born in the Bahamas and know to be a great cook. His wife (Lynda’s namesake) is in the second photograph. Lynda recalls being babysat by her Great Grandmother and said that “you never talked back to her, you never told her no. And it wasn’t because she was mean or would spank you, it was just the persona she extended. The last photo is signed “With Love, Edna” who was Lynda’s grandmother and was taken in the 1940’s. Lynda believes it was sent to Edna’s husband who was serving in WWII. The photo restoration instructions included: Fixing scratches, sharpen contrast, fill in backgrounds, remove the border and create 5×7″ prints. We were delighted to be able to restore these wonderful family photographs as well as bringing a big smile to Lynda’s face. We LOVE to see our customers so happy!
