Everyone thinks they have the best dog. And none of them are wrong! -W.R. Purche
We loved having Peggy visit the Restore.TV office! She brought with her images of her beloved dog Onyx who passed away this year from cancer. Onyx had been part of the family since she was a baby and lived to be 13 years old… (65 in Dog Years!) and Peggy wanted to create a collage to display and honor Onyx’s life. One of the stories we really liked hearing about Onyx was when Peggy’s great grandson, who was 2 at the time, would come over to visit and any time Onyx would run up to the fence & bark to fend her territory, Peggy’s great grandson would run up to the fence and do the same!
Peggy also brought with her a photo of her Great Grandmother Mary Stewart who is pictured with her mother, father and brothers and sisters. Mary was born in 1874 and passed away in 1948. Peggy remembers that her Great Grandmother was there when Peggy was born and said that she Peggy looked like an Indian due to all her black hair. Peggy who loves working on genealogy was excited to see that one of her cousins posted this photo on Facebook and that is how Peggy was able to get it restored.
