Restore.tv goes to Chumpi, Peru!

Chumpi District is one of eight districts of the province Parinacochas in Ayacucho, Peru!

The people in the district are mainly indigenous citizens of Quechua descent. Quechua is the language which the majority of the population (70.22%) learn to speak in childhood, 29.61% of the residents started speaking using the Spanish language (2007 Peru Census). We visited Brea Pampa Pisti Carpalla and at night we had a great time celebrating Corpus Christie. This was definitely an amazing trip, we even milked cows!!

Watch the video and join us, know more about this beautiful place, its customs, celebrations and much more!
